All of our dogs are dual registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the United Kennel Club (UKC) [the parent registry for the HRC]. Our lines are line bred on nationally known high performance dogs. While they may be high performance, they are also calm and relaxed in the blind, in a boat, and around the house. They are also registered with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for Hips, Elbows, Eyes (CERF), Thyroid, and awaiting the results for Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM).  All our pups receive Early Neurological Stimulation.

We only breed dogs that have titled in Field Trials and/or Hunt Tests. All of our puppies are whelped and raised in our home where they are socialized in a family environment. They will be introduced to normal sights and sounds of the average household. They will also be introduced to water (weather permitting), birds and other experiences that will benefit the hunting retriever. Puppies will have dew claws removed, their first series of shots, and are health checked by a veterinarian. Pups come with a 26 month Hip, Elbow and Eye guarantee covering genetic diseases of the hips, elbows and eyes.

We strive to place our puppies in field trial and hunt test homes. Hunting families are also welcome but we enjoy watching our pups grow and excel to continuously higher achievements as measured by the trials and tests. This helps our reputation grow and also helps to ensure the new client that they are receiving “field tested” quality puppies. Anyone can say, “This dog will hunt.” But we strive to prove it!
