DRIFTWOOD LABRADORS is a small kennel in southwest Indiana specializing in healthy and genetically sound field style Labs. We are located in Boonville, IN about 15 miles east-northeast of Evansville, IN. Periodically we have Labrador puppies for sale and occasionally started dogs. We also offer retriever training for waterfowl and/or upland work.

DRIFTWOOD LABRADORS provides dual faceted training. First,
we provide retriever training of various levels. Second, we provide “owner” training. What good is it to have a highly trained retriever if you don’t know how to “handle” the dog? Our progams range from Basic Obedience to Advanced Waterfowl & Upland training. We also run our dogs in HRC Hunt Tests and provide hunt test handling as well.All of our dogs are dual registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the United Kennel Club (UKC) [the parent registry for the HRC]. They are also registered with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for Hips, Elbows, Eyes (CERF), Cardio, Thyroid, and awaiting the results for Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM). Pups come with a 26 month Hip, Elbow and Eye guarantee covering genetic diseases of the hips, elbows and eyes. Our dogs are line bred on nationally known high performance dogs and we only breed dogs that have titled in Field Trials and/or Hunt Tests. We perform Early Neurological Stimulation on all our puppies and they are whelped and raised in our home where they are socialized in a family environment.

Come and enjoy some pictures of our memorable hunting and testing moments; as well as some pictures of our favorite training grounds. We have access to a few thousand acres of land and water with a multitude of terrains and ground covers. We have water that ranges from flooded timber to big wide open water and land that ranges from flat with low cover to rolling hills with tall dense cover. This enables us to provide a wide array of training scenarios to match a dog's skill and training level to the terrain and cover required to develop a dog into a confident, capable, and reliable retriever.Contact:
